NACDN Spring Updates

The 37th Annual Tuerk Conference on Mental Health & Addiction Treatment in Baltimore, MD on 4.29.2025 was a huge success. NACDN Board member & Tuerk Planning Committee member- Susan Doyle - ensured that the lengthy application for nurse contact hours was submitted and approved by the Maryland Nurses Association. NACDN Board of Directors and committee members: Joyce McMahon, President; Tara Weinkam, Membership Chair; Susan Doyle, Treasurer; and Amanda Scott (Membership Committee member) tended the NACDN conference booth. It was great to see NACDN members in attendance and meet various SUD programs in Maryland and beyond. SAVE THE DATE for the 38th Annual Tuerk Conference - 4.15.2026!

If you are not receiving monthly free continuing education links, please check that your membership is active and your email on file is up to date. 

NURSES WEEK - Happy Nurses Week! The NACDN Board of Directors was busy visiting SUD programs in the Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Harford County, and Anne Arundel in Maryland this week delivering treat boxes, meeting dedicated nurses in the SUD field, and growing the membership. Due to the fact that the Board members also have full time jobs, these visits are spilling into next week.
